The laptop story is so old. People have to come up with new material if they are going to say something negative about Cam.

For Instance:

"I hope he can take his tests using a XBOX or Playstation 3!"

See that was marginally funny and original..

Seriously though, it is awesome that Cam can come back and earn his degree. Hopefully he will finish and make his walk.

Vanderbilt and LSU are the top two football programs in the SEC in terms of graduation success rate.

The latest graduation success rate (GSR) scores were released by the NCAA on Thursday, and Vanderbilt checked in at 85 percent and LSU at 77 percent.

The GSR includes transfer students and student-athletes who leave in good academic standing, unlike the federal graduation rate, which does not include transfers. The GSR measures graduation over a six-year period from initial enrollment.

These latest figures are a four-year average for freshmen who entered school between fall 2002 and fall 2005.

Below are the GSR numbers for the entire SEC:

Vanderbilt: 85
LSU: 77
Alabama: 75
Florida: 75
Missouri: 73
Georgia: 69
Texas A&M: 69
Kentucky: 65
Auburn: 64
Mississippi State: 60
Ole Miss: 59
Tennessee: 58
Arkansas: 55
South Carolina: 55

Nationally, Auburn isn't even among the top 25 in player graduation rates.

Here's what I don't get:

Why do we always take bunch of flak for the $200k stuff? If anything, that was a damn fine investment.
