Ehh, Little Rock is not nearly as bad as people make it out to be. Of course there are bad parts of town but the areas around the stadium and downtown are pretty nice. You can scalp tickets on Markham Street outside of the stadium. You will have plenty of chances to buy some. After the game you should eat or go out either in the River Market or in the Heights, both areas are pretty close to the stadium. Do that and stay in those general ares and you will go home loving your trip to LR.

For a one weekend escape from Mississippi, going to the game then a night out on the River Market would make for a good trip. If you're there for any extended period of time though I agree with you

Wow. This guy is pretty high strung.
Shreveport is a wonderful town, especially if you like crime, drugs, pilfering, guns, and a general inclination for everything trashy.
Little Rock falling one step below that should be nothing short of a compliment to just about anyone from Arky.

I don't think Little Rock is that bad for a city of its size. Downtown and all points west are pretty good.
Its probably one of the better southern cities in that size category as far as not being murdery and having stuff to do.
Shreveport doesn't really even feel safe to me. And Shreveport isn't even as large a metro as little ole NWA.
