BYU’s best win was over a Notre Dame team that has an absolute joke of a schedule themselves. I mean, look at this…
Who’s Notre Dame’s best win? 4-2 Wisconsin? Notre Dame has played exactly zero ranked teams this season other than BYU.
And like Notre Dame, BYU has also played exactly zero ranked teams. Besides Notre Dame, which wholly owes its current ranking in the polls to its name, their best win is over an unranked Arizona.
IMO, there is no justification for either BYU or Notre Dame being ranked anywhere higher than the high teens. And that’s being generous.
