Notre Dame is #9.
Way better victory on the resume' than #15 Utah or #16 USC

Well then by that logic texas should be in. Which I'm fine with. But not Miami or ND

You misspelled Vandy.

I know vandy can't control where the teams they play end up,
but at the end of the year with the rankings, Vandy played 3 teams that ended up being ranked at the end of the year and they lost to 2 of those 3.

ND played 3 ranked teams and lost to 2 of them and their biggest win was over USC

not a Texas fan, but Texas over BYU or Vandy or ND

Ahhh…I remember my first football game.

You’ll have to learn to wait more than 6 minutes into the first.

I love how everyone bitches about playoff rankings but those are the ones used to rate teams?

Those rankings are frozen. They won't even adjust from this point forward.

You might as well just jerk off. It is about as productive as an argument using those rankings.

It’s obvious your dad should have pulled out or your mom should have swallowed.

I mean that's the accepted standard for cfb right or wrong, so yea. They determine the champ. We are arguing about who shouldve been ranked highest between miami, ND, BYU, and texas in the playoff rankings arent we? Why would we use the polls that don't matter?

Because teams are still playing.

You are what your record says you are. And that is still changing for every team with a post season.

I dont trust the playoff committee to honestly put together a top 25 ranking. That is literally not what they are mandated to do. They are mandated to field 12 teams in the playoff.

They're playing games that don't matter for the topic at hand. We're talking about who should be in/out of the playoffs. Are they supposed to go back and change their minds after the playoffs and re-do them?

And if you're hinting at something with the bowl games, I think we all know those are pretty irrelevant in this era. Theyre completely different teams from the regular season as half the players/coaches aren't even there anymore

Give Indiana the trophy then.

They will forever be the 2025 CFP #1.

And let JMU cast the #12 rings. Because that is what your CFP committee decided to do.
