Except Richt had an SEC title in his first 4 years.

This was UT's chance to take advantage of a really bad SEC-E and a favorable schedule and they still couldn't get it done. It'll only get tougher from here so he'll need to stop underachieving with those highly ranked recruiting classes to even remotely be comparable to Mark Richt.

Richt won the east at least and has come much closer than he has. He's nothing like Richt.

The east is bad enough that Butch just might win it someday. But the SEC as a whole, frick no. He'll never make the playoff either.

quote:
Mark Richt won 10 games in a season 9 times in the SEC. Butch? Not once.
Mark Richt won the SEC East five times. Butch? Not once.
Mark Richt won the SEC twice. Butch? Not once.
Butch doesn't belong in the same sentence as Richt, poor man version or not.
