But you've got him. And at the very least he's going to need a good 3 seasons to turn that shite around. Half of your players were set to transfer anyway even under Stans and who knows what else he would've gotten you into at the rate he was declining.

He's our Billy Clyde

Hopefully we hire a proven winner after he is fired.

Unless he's drunk, borderline abusing his players, and not able to recruit even at somewhere like Kentucky he's not.

If you won't even give the guy a chance to right the ship no one is going to want that job either way.

If you think being able to "ball" in the Sanderson is equivalent to an SEC caliber player, then I overestimated your basketball knowledge

If this guy can cut it I have a feeling some other walkons could as well.

Really? You could tell this after one game(that you didn't even watch)? Nevermind it being on the road in a brand new arena, with 7 scholarship players, only 2 of which had played a single game on the d1 level, 3 of which were true freshmen

The more you talk on this, the more ignorant you make yourself look. No one knows if Ray will be successful here, but the way you dismiss him seems almost personal.

Losing to Troy in basketball is worse than losing to them in Football.

He will never step on the court. He's what you call a GPA booster.

You have 7 scholarship players.

I could probably roll in there with Bellarmine and pull that off.

Exactly. But Al won't see it that way. Refuses to. No amount of reasoning will change his mind either.

Unfortunately, we are dealing with a large portion of our fanbase that remain more loyal to Stansbury than to our school, thus persistently dividing the fanbase and making rebuilding much, MUCH more difficult for the next guy. It is the same thing we underwent when Polk was fired and Cohen hired, and we still aren't fully over it in baseball. That was literally bad enough that it almost prevented Cohen from succeeding here. Hell, Palmeiro sent his oldest kid to UAB with Polk and Shoop, if that tells you anything. Makes me really hate our fanbase sometimes.

Thanks. They're raw but I think we'll be a force to be reckoned with come conference play given our OOC slate.

Get some sleep and be careful.

What do you think about the Troy game tonight Bundy?
They beat us in a close game. The fact that we are playing there and they are opening their new arena gives them the edge.

Nice call Bundy. It was an awesome atmosphere in there. That stretch of foul calls against Troy in the second half seemed a little overdone. We won though, so go Trojans!
