Is being an OM fan a lot like being a Cubs fan?

I just can't hate OM. I tried once but I just can't.

what exactly is incorrect about his statement?

Your basketball team has turned into a dumpster fire. And you are relying on an inexperienced OL and a RS-Frosh qb.

The funny and ironic thing is: the only sport you can definitively say Ole Miss is worse at LSU in is football. I'm assuming your an LSU fan.

Elleshoe just sounds like he's on a soapbox screaming. He mad about something.

Ole Miss is currently in the top 20 in baseball, has almost everyone returning from a basketball team that came two wins away from the NCAAs, and is rebuilding from Nutt's disaster.

MSU's basketball program is a dumpster fire right now, their baseball team will tank at the end because Cohen lets them pitch 250 pitches a game, and their football team is on a downward slope with an inexperienced offensive line and its hope on a RS-Freshman raw QB.

ALL of that aside, we're the flagship, they're not.

Winning sports games doesn't determine who is or isn't the flagship school of a state. Is Virginia Tech or UVA the flagship of Virgina? Is Michigan or Michigan State the flagship of Michigan? Is Texas or Texas A&M the flagship of Texas? Think about it.

Yes because we got rid of our coach, once we get a new coach all that will start to straighten out.

No. We have a young team and will get better as the season progresses. The next couple years look very strong for us in baseball.

We are not on a downward slope we should be improved from last year and have a favorable schedule. We will make a bowl from anywhere with 6 to 8 wins. We have Russell at QB who has plenty of experience, along with all of our WRs coming back. Prescott turning out good will just help us out that much more. I am worried about our O line but it will be better than last years O line disaster.

Not quite. The Cubs tend to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory over and over. OM never has the opportunity to fall flat on their faces. They start out there.

Also, to address the OP, can someone explain to me why Bundy is excited about this hire? This has disaster written all over it.

Our football is light years ahead of OM right now. Our "dumpster fire basketball team dominanted you in the second game this year. Our baseball team will be better than yours too.

nothing besides the fact that he just made an attempt to prove that ole miss's athletic program is in better shape than State's and he did it by using opinions and predicting the future. He used two cotton bowls to describe the football team instead of mentioning the two total wins last year. It's a nice spin.

Tell me where I'm exaggerating. The real laugh will be in November when your team is 6-5 coming into the Egg Bowl, and Ole Miss comes in 4-7 and we're favored due to the weakest non-conference schedule by a BCS team in the country.

we can definitively say that LSU has had more success in all 3 sports in the last 10 years and in the history of the SEC than Ole Miss however.

6 NCAA appearances in basketball?! Our train wreck of a program has gone 5 times since 2000

State and ole miss have almost dead even teams if state's outfield is healthy. Get your head outta your arse, bro. The only thing better about your team is it is healthier and it started the season ranked.
