Certain fans change their tunes though based on who is involved. LSU fans are the worst offenders here.

Or…and hear me out…the player just maneuvers themselves off the field through a crowd like normal human beings, while being wrapped in protective equipment.
Hell, fans get more physical contact and taunting waiting line to take a piss at a game than what happened here.

Except the players aren't going into the stands when they taunt opposing fans.
Fans can taunt the players all game long from their seats. And I like the excitement of students rushing the field after a big upset....but just run to midfield and celebrate with your own team and fellow fans. If a fan runs up in the face of a player that's just trying to exit the field and gets shoved down as a result, they deserved it.
And I'm not sure what OP means about the LSU player swinging on fans. All I can make out from that video is that it looks like he gave a light shove with his left arm to a fan who ran up at him.

I don’t think anyone thinks anything major happened. It’s just a few people here want to make something of it. It’s a non-story. But since LSU lost and their fans want to make something of it, they are automatically a bunch of pussies. We all move on.

I don't give a shite about storming the field, but if the SEC really wanted to enforce it, you forfeit the win if they storm the field. Even then, it won't change much because they still "won" fair and square. It honestly makes no sense to enforce it

Pretty much from what I saw in the video. Same thing happens in almost every field storming where the final play of the game happens on the student section side of the stadium and the players are in the middle of the crowd rushing the field. Looked like a nothing burger.

That is insanely dumb and it absolutely does keep folks from storming the field. Lane himself was happy we never stormed the field last year because it costs about half of a good db. $500k is not pocket change. $750k for a second offense absolutely isn’t either.
