At least 3 times someone has made the point "these 2 guys who suck won NCs here therefore ..." without expressly concluding that "therefore a guy who has never won anything in FBS will win one"
It's entirely possible those two guys are better than Brian Kelly. Going an average of 9-3 at ND is not proof that you're better than Les Miles. That's the truth.

Brian Kelly's been at it for decades and never sniffed what O has. That's sad.
Les Miles won 75% of his grass-eating games at LSU. He won two conference championships and one national championship.
That's three more titles than Kelly has won in his entire FBS career.
