Notre Dame is without question a better job.

247 doesn't believe so
The Athletic doesn't believe so
Action Network doesn't believe so
That's the top 3 returns on the Google search.

Then it’s very possible that he actually believes it.

How’d it work out against Burrow/lsu in 2019 sec championship game?

Notre Dame is a blue blood. LSU is a fluky program.

LSU is a slightly more lucky Auburn.

Those are the facts.
Based on what?
If you were deciding between both jobs, what would make you choose Notre Dame, just out of curiosity?

Well, they have a gigantic fanbase. Catholics across the county, plus the Catholic church are 100% behind them. They have a deal with NBC that makes them a ton of money. They don't have to play any SEC teams in order to make the CFP. They are an elite academic institution. They are one of the five most successful programs all time.
If you look at LSU, Saban's presence basically won LSU two natties. The Ed O thing was a fluke.
Louisiana is a dying state, and LSU could very easily slip into obscurity. There isn't a national following like there is at Notre Dame.
Plus if you have a bad season and a half, LSU fans will run you off.

So, by that logic, Orgeron's natty was basically won by Miles since they both happened in yesr 3 of their respective tenures.

No, not at all. Miles was a clown and so was O. O just got lucky with Burrow and putting the right assistant coaches around him. O did a horrible job at Ole Miss as a HC and also after Burrow left.

Why hasn't Notre Dame won a major bowl game in 30 years?

Ask yourself this, do you believe that Orgeron (or Miles for that matter) could have won a national title at Notre Dame?

If Nick Saban preceded Miles at Notre Dame, absolutely.

Les Miles won the West and made it to the NC 7 years after Saban left. He was one of the nation's best recruiters and one of the most successful coaches in the country during his tenure at LSU.
