Bama will always be the fanbase that is OK with accessory to murder.

Nothing will ever change that.

Not to mention they don't have Goldman money to hire a lawyer to sue Miller.

Contingency baw, a million attorneys will take it cause the odds it goes to court are slim and Miller will pay for it to go away…..

Sounds like self defense with a manslaughter charge to me

This, since the deceased was not involved in committing a crime when she was shot. It does put her passenger on the hook for a possible felony murder charge though.

Dummy said they didn’t have money to sue. They will get plenty for some litigator to take it on contingency.

It's more likely that no one will take it, especially since they probably believe they have a case against the University too. The University would be more likely to take this to trial, and would likely defend Miller in this scenario also.

Despite having a drop ceiling, I understand how the world works. There is no way Miller is gonna come out of this without some financial consequence.

Do you even know what discovery is? You think Byrne, Oates and Pres Bell are gonna sit for depositions where they can be asked almost anything under oath .

Imagine thinking you understand how the world works but don't realize they can just decline to answer the question on the advice of their attorneys.

Well not as bad as this anyway.

In Stern v. Roberts, a jury just held that Auburn University had retaliated against Prof. Michael Stern, a tenured economics professor, based on his speech; the jury awarded $145K in compensatory damages and $500K in punitive damages. Here are the factual allegations from the earlier opinion denying summary judgment:

So what do you think the payout will be for a murder weapon delivery driver with a top 5 NBA pick salary
