For example, this season if Ole Miss hadn't crapped the bed against UF and UK and Bama hadn't crapped the bed against OU and Vandy, then we'd have seen 5 SEC teams I think.

In that scenario Alabama plays Texas for the title, and UGA and South Carolina get in. Tennessee would deserve being in over Indiana, but not sure if they committee would agree.

Oregon, Penn St, Indiana, and Ohio St did screw up and lose regular season games they shouldn't have.

are there people out there that think that a commitee would ever put 5 teams from one conference in the playoffs?
With the membership of this year's committee, if there were a bubble team from the B1G, that conference would have got 5 teams in and you'd hear bullshite justification about "they match up well for a December game at the Horseshoe/Happy Valley/South Bend" from the CFP. Just look at where they have Illinois...

Say Michigan won vs. Illinois and Washington, they'd be 9-3 (1 OOC loss) with a quality win vs. Illinois, @Tosu, and a late season quality loss @ Indiana.

What game did Oregon lose that they should have won?
