I definitely think it is crazy that for as "bad" the Alabama defense was for a national title team, they actually were a tad bit better on scoring defense than '14 Ohio State and '19 Louisiana State. I don't think it is much of a difference. They all were pretty mediocre units that were bad for stretches but found a way to make a few plays in the postseason to help their great offenses.

Probably right about this. Didn’t have the lowest ratings of a national championship? Damn you would think the whole country would want to watch the greatest team of all time?
