Bold Prediction: Alabama will not win it all this year

Using empirical data (I’ll admit there is some recency bias), I have concluded that since this season did not include 5 win playoff teams, female place kickers, or cardboard fans in the stadium it is unlikely they will win it all. In recent history those three things were strict requirements for them to have a chance.

Oh nice, in that same recent history LSU has never won anything - no requirements needed!
