Are you trying to say that prior to 2000, OU < A&M?

Programs aren't defined by one decade, or one game for that matter. I understand that as an Aggie fan without much history to speak of that you can only hope that your future is brighter than your past.
You're 19.
And in my lifetime, OU has more National championships, Conference Championships, Heisman Winners, and All-Americans than A&M. So I don't see your point.

So you think OU ever had a shot at geeting into the B1G?

Two things:
OU is a much better football program than A&M.
Ole miss is everyone's verbal punching bag.

You don't have a point of view, other than OU in the SEC would be bad for A&M, right? You're just talking in circles. In the 90s, A&M was a much better program than Oklahoma. In 1999, people were saying Oklahoma would never be successful having to play A&M every year, etc. And after 51-7, Blake(that was the coach before Stoops I know you don't remember) wasn't going to coach in Norman again. That is right. You were so clearly below the Aggie benchmark your coach got fired. You're too young to comprehend this, but A&M doesn't fear Oklahoma. We definitely don't want you in the conference, but Dennis Franchione isn't wearing the right shade of maroon for us to worry about your little team in Norman.

There are talks going on right now about KU & OU jumping to the B1G. I think the PAC is the most realistic though. It's ultimately gonna come down to who is willing to take OSU along with us

Those Heisman winners didn't perform too well against the SEC when it mattered most.

Why are you pointing at our ONE decade of mediocrity to try and say that A&M > OU?

And Florida, LSU, Alabama have more Nattys? And have been far more relevant the last decade than Oklahoma. Far more. Does that mean you're scared of them and they will always be better than the Sooners? I will be the first to tell you that Oklahoma is a better historical program than A&M. That doesn't mean that is your birthright and that it will continue in to perpetuity. A&M will be far better than Oklahoma over the next decade(already 2-1 in the 2010s), much like we were in the 90s. And the next decade it might be different. It might not. My point is that a really Oklahoma Sooner(my uncle being one of them) would never act like the Cotton Bowl was irrelevant like you so cavalierly did. Cavalierly is a big word. Did you go to high school in Texas, or do you not know what that means?

I'm not. Oklahoma is a historically better program than Texas A&M.

All I ever saw him say was that A&M was better than y'all in the 90's. And it looks like the Shelties will be better in the 2010's

. Granted, he did win one of those games, but it was against Arkansas, and is Arkansas even really SEC worthy?
The next time Arkansas wins a marquee regular season matchup against an OOC foe will be the first time. Wait, they beat ranked Aggy two years in a row. I don't know what to believe. Just don't let them play USC.

No. But I wasn't the one pointing at my age. You were.

WHEW. Thank you, I'm sure that was hard for you to type.

I guess we will talk to you 7 years from now to see if you were correct.

I think it's safe to say the Cotton Bowl meant more to Aggies than it did to Sooners.
