Beating Ole Miss wouldn't be nearly as much fun if they weren't so arrogant and knew their place in the pecking order. They sure as hell might win this weekend but that's OK. It may be even sweeter watching their dream season fall to pieces at home against their in-state rival in the Egg Bowl.

What does a shitty decade full of Orgeron and Nutt have to do with Hugh Freeze and the team he has put together? Absolutely nothing. The fact is, it's a new era for Ole Miss football...and that new era started after a 2-10 team and is the #3 team in the nation 2 and a half seasons in. You can keep denying all you want, but this is not the same Ole Miss you've known since you became an LSU fan midway through the 2003 season.
This just shows you know nothing about the Ole Miss program.

They beat the worst Florida team ever, and a Kentucky team that went into overtime with said Florida dumpster fire and now they actually believe they're winning Saturday night. I cannot fathom having that level of faith (delusion) in your team (near last in the West probably) but if it feels good, do it I guess..
This is very similar to Alabama beating Arky and aTm the day after Dega before puffing all the way back up to full gump.

Heavily agree with this. It's pretty split on tRant. I'm not going to speak about the LSU fanbase as a whole, because many have been down to Earth about this season and the game that is being played this season. The other fans have been as you stated above. I would assume those are the fans that watch every lsu game from their couch, while taking a nap halfway through the second.
As I've said, LSU is very talented everywhere except QB...and their DL could use a little work. I just find it funny when people come on here and use "you're Ole Miss, you sucked for awhile, no way you get good again, pecking order bitch, y'all's win was lucky, worst game of our life, you're still Ole Miss" as their reasons for them winning this weekend. I'd be okay with just "Fournette discovered classical music this week and he is extra pumped up."

While the #WeBelieve campaign was probably a tad premature, I don't think 7-0 going to Bama compares to the delusion level of being 6-2 with their sudden faith coming from wins against Florida(barely) and UK.
