Stingley is on the SEC second team as a CB and is certainly the best freshman CB in the conference. Bo Nix didn't make either 1st or second team SEC.
Here's what got him the award besides going 9-3 against Auburn's schedule.
Nix, who finished the year with 165 consecutive pass attempts without an interception and who did not throw a pick at home this season, set program freshman records for yards, completions and passing touchdowns.

I think you have it exactly backwards. There are far more good CB's in the SEC than there are good QB's.
Georgia might be in the CFP if they had even a decent QB.

THIS AWARD WAS NOT GIVEN TO BO NIX BUT WAS GIVEN AS A SNUB TO SABAN and Alabama after that 48-45 Win.
