Not exactly the first time LSU fans have gone to great lengths to deny reality.

The rule specifically notes it’s not supposed to be a penalty, the officials clearly did not know it because 3 flags got thrown.

If you rewatch close to the end of the game Kelly has to tell the official “the clock is supposed to run” when they evidently didn’t know that rule either.

Then there was the blocked kick that should have been a flag but wasn’t.

The receiver who has both knees out of bounds not one but 2 officials called a catch. Illegal touching since he went out of bounds and didn’t establish himself back inbounds?

Never mind they had that and another horrible call that got overturned late in the game.

That officiating crew should never call another game. I’m not sure any of them could pass a test on the rules.
