hey man , if it makes you feel better to say its 1/2 of a championship go ahead ,but no self respecting LSU fan would claim the NC in a year the AP voted them 2nd .Just sayin .

The AP is completely irrelevant in the BCS era. They even agreed before the season to vote the BCS title game winner number 1 then went back on it. USC didn't even make the title game.

I don't care if they do or not. Them winning the AP takes away from the legitimacy of their claim. It doesn't take away from LSU's title. That's just stupid.

not saying you should claim it as a fan but it only counts 1/2 for Saban .Where as ,Urban has 2 with Florida and 1 with OSU . Saban only has a half with LSU , . Lets see if Saban can go to ,lets say Vanderbilt and win a Natty ????/ Doubt it . Heck, he may not even be as good as HC of ND as BK was . just sayin. Saban good recruiter ,avg coach .great delegator to his assistants . But ,if he loses to Cincy like he lost to Utah that one yr .Oh Boy , little tarnish on the leagcy
