mean games where you were blowing teams out and Swift came in after the defense was worn down and quit?
He showed plenty of flashes before your claim of trash yards holds up.

Yes but it will all depend on how September goes for UGA. I think the road games in September will be bigger games then many will expect. GA lost leadership and key production on both sides. Young players are great but need time to learn. The LSU, UF, and AU games could be interesting if September does not go well.
Honestly, you seem to be a fan who predicts what you want to happen and have little ability to objectively assess a situation. It'd be one thing if this were the SEC of 2012, but it's not.

In two short years Kirby has blown games just like Richt did. Nothing has changed really.

Richt never beat a team like Oklahoma in the rose bowl, but you didn’t know that jake

showing flashes is not the same thing as what I responded to, which was "There was zero dropoff when they left the field for the new guy last year." That's a bit of an overstatement IMO because neither Swift nor Holyfield were put in situations last year to show whether there would be any drop off if Chubb or Michele weren't there. they were situational backs and always running on fresh legs against tired defenses. Swift had a 71 yard run against Missouri when UGA was up by 26 in the 4th quarter. He had a 64 yard run against Auburn in the 4th quarter when UGA was up by 14. He had a 31 yard run against Tech when UGA was up by 17 late in the 3rd.
Showing flashes is a far cry from knowing what to expect when he's "the guy" and asked to carry the ball 20 times a game. And when you have two backs like Chubb and Michel accounting for most of your rushing production, then there are always going to be question marks going into the season. I said the same thing about Guice prior to the 2016 season. He looked great when he played but there was no guarantee he would do what he did. Of course he ended up proving he was a great back, but I wasn't the least bit dismissive that LSU wouldn't miss a beat without Fournette prior to him becoming the feature back.

Not even close. Go back and look at his prediction.

That was a mistake by you by trying to be super duper “objective”. Sometimes its a safe assumption when you reload at rb like uga does. Talent is talent, holes by ol are holes. No matter the quarter. We have both. Rb is the easiest position to succeed in with those 2 things.
Swift’s long run vs mizzou was when the score was 40-21 and it was mid 3rd q.
His long run vs au was vs all of their fresh backups who will play this year. He carried a group of vols in the first half before they gave up. Long gains in 1st half vs uf and Notre Dame.

You didn’t win the “Rose Bowl” you played in the stadium. The Rose Bowl is a B1G vs PAC 12 game. Like when we won the National Championship in 2009 we didn’t win the Rose Bowl
Kirby hasn’t done anything Richt didn’t do himself. That includes blowing 4th quarter leads.

It's going to be a really long season for UGA fans on this board if they're not undefeated before or after the LSU game. I'm not sure I've ever seen a fan base so sure of themselves, not even Alabama fans who certainly would have a reason to be at this point.

Ole Miss upsets bama again by the skin of their teeth 41 -38. Ole Miss goes up 14 - 0 early by halftime bama has scored 21 unanswered points.
Both Hawaiin QBs throw for 2 td's and rush one in.
Ole Miss upsets Ed O as we actually keep LSU under 120 rushing yards. 28-21.

This might be your dumbest take yet. No, yesterdays was worse. Anyways, The conferences in a bowl game can change. Uga beating ou was better than anything richt did.

Every team loses players. How good are those replacements? That’s a good question. Why does it bother you when uga fans point out that our replacements are probably better than our opponents replacements?
