Glen Dorsey and Derrick Harvey both top 10 in '08.
There really should be an asterisk next to these two guys' names in the Book of Busts.
Dorsey got picked up by a terrible team who had and still doesn't have any business running the 3-4. He's been a wasted talent since he got drafted.
Calling Harvey a bust isn't really fair to him because he's not the dip$h!t who traded the draft for him in the top 10 when everyone expected him to go way later. But, he still sucked it up so

I wouldn't call Ro a bust either. Hes been the starting MLB in Oakland from day 1.
I thought the word on him was too slow and in trouble off the field?
well, i looked him up and he is starting and therefore doesn't deserve to be on the list unless he washes out this year
I stand corrected

He has had some off the field trouble, but he plays for Oakland. Its expected.

How about John Copeland and Eric Curry from Bama?
They went 5th and 6th in the same draft.

Was drafted in 1992. I think he would be considered a semi bust. He played in the NFL for seven years. He was solid, just wasn't a standout.

I dont get the Julio thing. Hes going to be a pro bowler.

Anyone after the '09 draft shouldn't really be on the list unless they're dead or out of the league. Way too soon to be a "bust".

yeah Julio is probably over-rated by bama fans but he's going to be at least a solid pro IMO

I would say '08 draft but the point is valid

Josh Booty, Florida Marlins.
Oh, wait, this is NFL draft busts. My bad!
I know you're kidding around, but Josh Booty was not a bust in baseball either. Making a major league roster, which he did, is not a bust. Never making it past AA as a 1st round pick would be a bust.

I think the fact that the dirty birds gave up an entire draft and their left nut to get him adds a lot of pressure to be one of the best in the league.
I think if the browns or whoever had drafted him with a single pick, and he went on to catch for ~600-700 this year, 800-1000 next year and then throw in mostly 1000 yard years the rest of his career, I'd call that a successful pick. BUT, given that Atlanta traded so much for him, the expectations get blown out of proportion.
