Chris Jones will be a better stand-out player than Lawson

How can this be true if you don't know who Lawson is?

Please stay on track...

Do you think anyone else can beat out the 1st round draft pick killa?

Chris Jones went to Mississippi State

Carl Lawson went to a no-name school.

C'mon don't bite on that. You of all people should expect better from MSU fans.

In other news,

Experts suspect that maybe DJ Fluker shouldn't have gone in the first round after all.

My answer to your OP is this.

Carl Lawson doesn't want any hype. He wants to prove it on the field. So in respect to him I believe RN will have the most impact as a freshman. I heard RN had dreams of thrashing NFL Guards and tackles. So mentally he has trained against NFL talent.

I bit because I chose to. I wasn't tricked into thinking I would have an intelligent discussion with the guy. I felt like playing in the water.

That is my favorite part about him. He just keeps his head down and wipes out 1st rounders...only the work is important to him. Humble.

Well we all know every Bama 1st rounder turns out to be a bust, so it's really not that great of an accomplishment.

I know the intent of this thread. Nonetheless, I'll bite. It will not be hard for Carl Lawson to stand out like a sore thumb on AU's D. Any kind of disruption in the backfield will make him the second coming when compared to last year.

All jokes aside, Lawson is a physical freak for his age. Hopefully it translates.

Well, no shite. A true freshman who blows up top 15 picked NFL OLmen? Of course he will stick out...

SEC is too tough for a freshman to have a seriously impressive impact.
