it's hard to miss the colors Purple and Gold. Very few teams use this combo.

These lists have nothing to do with anything. All this tells me is that UGA overcharges for football tickets and AU tshirts cost more than UA tshirts!

Not sure what that has to do with anything?? LSU wasn't good for about 100 years, but they still have a good sized fanbase.

It means Alabama doesn't have the largest football fanbase. And I never claimed LSU does.

It's clearly Florida at this point. It helps that 1) they've won 2 of the last 3 national titles 2) have the best/most popular player in CFB 3) they're the largest school and probably have the largest alumni base 4) they play in the largest state in the South (region)

But I'm almost positive there is a direct correlation in the teams current performance... So the number of "fans" probably changes year to year..

I wouldn't go completely on income for the size of fanbases. For instance, Alabama would be higher on that list if not for having one less home game during that season. We pocketed 2.5 million for the Chick-fil-A Kickoff, but that pails in comparison to another home game. And think about Tennessee. That insane recruiting budget has to come out of something.

Those financials are simply false regaurding UT. UT is one of the few , if not the only, Athletic Department in the country that recieves no funding from the University or the state. Since they are purely a private institution, they choose not to release any financial information regarding the athletic department.

This list has everything to do with it... I'm trying to give you objective evidence, where everything you will try to say is subjective...

AU and UGA aren't the ones making bogus t-shirts claiming we're number 1 in spring game attendance.

UT is a public institution, and therefore all athletic info is public as well.

Just about every SEC athletic dept is separate from its university, but that doesn't mean you don't have to comply with freedom of info act requests.

*that's how the news of our NCAA trouble broke
