It's not at midnight anymore.

This year it's at 7:30 p.m.

And your fan base CAN?? come on. How many die hard wives, kids, and old people come out and support the team and have no idea what's going on. You don't have to name the entire starting line up to be a fan

We seem to have a higher % of the message board reading types, yes. Hell, just look at the Alabama representation on this board. One of the reasons I like coming over here is to get a different point of view, but some days it seems like the "gumptards" dominate this board to the point I don't see much info that isn't on Tiderinsider. Sometimes I'm almost embarrassed, but I can't talk since I'm a member here myself.

Point is, I think our % of "diehards" is probably up there with anyone in the country (to be fair, I think this can be said for many SEC teams in comparison to other conferences).

Aside from the Tennessee Alumn here, Memphis is a very Anti-UT town.

Yeah I definitley didn't expect an SEC school to be 65th and 75th in the nation in revenue...

That's nuts. Only thing I can think of is they alienate alot of "Joe Six-packs" with the perception of Ole Miss as a "snoddy" school/program.

I agree I think the SEC is above most others in terms of college football knowledge. I lived up North for a couple years and they don't share the same passion as we do.

I've been to several road games across the SEC and I honestly think it's basically the same everywhere you go..except people are wearing different colors. Everyone is going to think there fan base is the best and the biggest so there is no point in arguing something that can't honestly be measured.

To be honest, Notre Dame probably has us all beat.. god damn Irish

2) Bama football

Nobody gives a shite about Bama football outside of Alabama and the South in general. Especially considering they weren't very good for 15 years.
