My concern is what happens to Mizzou football when Pinkel is gone.
The verdict is still out on their long-term value to the SEC, imo.

"Congrats on an 11 win season and top 5 ranking!"-too bad there are 2 SEC teams in front of you in the top 5.

Interesting, considering I'm the only South Carolina fan in this thread. And somehow you think we're attacking you and mad that "mizzou is overtaking us in the 'pecking order'"? Seems a little insecure and premature to be talking about that type of stuff.

I don't think he was referring to specific games; I believe he was referring to the teams' place in Missouri culture. In which case he is correct. No team will ever unseat the Cardinals, at least not in this century.

We are 11-1, 7-1 #5 BCS with in the SECCG in our second year with outside shot at a BCS-MNCG with "shitty" attendance, "shitty" recruiting.
So now what bro? You can win these other "victories" in meaningless stuff as long as this program gets it done on the field.

I get this. But the hyperbole obscures real conversation. We are expanding our stadium and are filling it on the reg. We will be in the top 15 in the country in attendance (EEBE) in 4 years. It's obviously not a "high school stadium." If you don't want to be called out on ridiculous statements by Mizzou fans, don't make them. (And by "you," I mean a general "you" not you specifically.)

Just like the consensus with A&M last year, people thought they would improve (or at least stay the same) and they've had a worse year. Now people are saying that they'll be a mid-tier team from here on out.

I expected Mizzou to get a lot better but I'm surprised they did it so soon. I did realize they were pretty good early on and picked them in almost every game.
I'm glad they're in the SEC along with A&M.
