LSU 9-7 since 1992. Not really that lopsided
UK and LSu played 1949, 1950, and then every year from 1952 on to 2002. We've met just 5 times since.
UK and LSU have a lot of history together. A shame it was to see that annual game go by the wayside.

Giving Bama Vanderbilt was just comical
They went undefeated in 92, and in 99 they got to Atlanta and upset Florida. 93 and 94 they would have made Atlanta anyway if Vandy was replaced with a tougher opponent they would end up losing to. In 96 maybe if Bama has a different permanent then LSU makes Atlanta instead, but at the same time LSU's other permanent other than Florida was Kentucky, so it's not like we have room to laugh when Tennessee was Bama's other perm and was formidable in the 90s.
So while on the surface it seems laughable I don't think it's as big a deal as it's made out to be. Ole Miss has Vandy as their permanent opponent, and were able to beat Bama in back to back years, yet didn't make Atlanta either time. You still have to play the rest of your games in the end and odds are if your permanent is easy that means the pool of your rotating teams is harder than others so it evens out I think in the end.

Seems like LSU has history with a lot of teams in the conference but we're not anyone's #1 rival. Kind of a weird dynamic and I blame Tulane for simping for the Northeast money.
I honestly didn't realize the series was that close since the 92 expansion. Yall did get us in the 07 season and beat the tar out of us in 21 (the night I went on the date I proposed to my now wife, thanks for that)

Remember when we played teams like LSU, UF, UT, Ole Miss, MSU?
Now we play teams like Arkansas, A&M, Oklahoma

Also remember LSU and UK playing what seemed regularly in the Les Miles days
Auburn had UGA & Florida
UGA had Auburn and Ole Miss
LSU had Florida and Kentucky

I’m surprised that UGA’s is not Mississippi St. It seems like we play them a lot.
