Face it, we passed on a coach that desperately wanted the position at Arkansas but had to settle for Auburn
Tim coached the best players your team has had in a while but sucks because he isn't there now. But its because he really sucks, Not because you are butthurt. Your team board might buy that but no one else.

The fact is we were one of the most prone teams to fumble. Horton never improved that stat... in fact it got worse the longer he was here

I'm the exact opposite of butthurt. If you look at my posts (or really any Arkansas posts) before we knew if Horton was going to be retained by Bielema, they're pretty much all negative towards him. But please, continue thinking as though you succeeded in some heist of one of our coaches if it helps you sleep better at night

Then Bielimp can take himself back to Yankee land and another Iowa or Nebraska type.
Gus/ Tim/ JB are a great coaching staff and JB is from my families home town. I will root for them in every game they coach and as far as the Arkansas game. I think the coaching staff with the most class out coaches the one without.

Better facilities, more money (there is enough money in NWA to buy the University of Auburn and the entire town if somebody wanted to), THE team for the entire state, Arkansas will always be the #1 University in the state of Arkansas while Auburn will always be behind Alabama and may slip behind Troy, Jacksonville state or UAB at some point in the future.
Arkansas was never a Polytechnic Institute (Auburn began as Alabama Polytechnic Institute). The University of Arkansas represents the entire state. Auburn represents a city. Arkansas is a better area of the country, more accessible, etc.
You can debate it all you want but look at the coaches each program has been able to attract that had no tires to the university and that will tell you all you need to know. It's no contest.
Arkansas: Broyles, Holtz, Ford, Petrino, Bielema.
Auburn: Dye, Bowden boy, Tubberville, Chizik, Malzahn.

The current administration at Arkansas may have the support of most of the new era message board fans but there is a lot of concerned boosters, reporters and old school Razorback fans. I think we should have kept Petrino then hired this unmoral thugish moron who could make us look worse than Petrino ever did. This one has to fall squarely on Long's shoulders and I just hope he hits the door when BB does.
and Choctaw I raise you all that nonsense you just posted to one Auburn National Championship this past decade. Remind me what century the Razorbacks last won a football NC and even then it was a shared title.
