If we had depth I'd say yes...But let's just say I'm not getting my hopes up of anything more than 1-2 upset(s).. Let's recruit a class or two where more than 50% are eligible before we talk about contending for the SEC... WDE

I think anyone with half a brain can see the SEC West will come down to Bama and LSU for the foreseeable future. Auburn doesn't have the ability to consistently recruit the talent that Alabama and LSU can, and that is not intended to be a flame..it's just the truth. Even in Auburn's best years you guys have a recruiting class ranked around 10-12, not 1 or 2.
Bobby Petrino is a good coach but Arkansas doesn't have enough talent in-state to challenge Bama or LSU consistently either. Nutt is a terrible recruiter and clearly a poor coach and Miss St, well...
I'm not saying Auburn or Arkansas (or maybe even Ole Miss) won't be able to sneak into 2nd place one year or something, but for the most part it's gonna be Bama or LSU in Atlanta each December. At least until Saban or Miles leave.

well all them from Bryant was real even though I was maybe four when we won them and 92 was real nice that one I remember(I got to see some titties that night too but not nearly so nice) so any of those 6 or 7 should be alright.
