So the frick what? It doesn't change the fact that you guys are so far from talent it makes it difficult to ever be a national champ or even an SEC champ
Yeah who gives a shite who's making all of the decisions

Tennessee is obviously the better program
That's had 3 embarrassing coaching searches in the past 5 years.

But remember the leadership of a program doesn't matter. Just how good their Rivals ranking is

I have faith in Bielema to get us in the upper echelon, he's a very good coach.
But we're not there yet. We haven't ever been there in the SEC. Tennessee has. I don't like it either, but a spade is a spade.

Are you talking to me? I just said I love Bielema. We're going to be fearsome under that guy.
When has HawgAlude ever said anything positive?

It's a little too early to say that, I still think we're just starting slow. Let us have a poor recruiting class under Bielema before we jump to that conclusion.
We're all really excited for what this guy could bring to the table, and for good reason.

No wonder Tennessee started recruiting nationally that is Pathetic!
Recruiting nationally has worked out well for Tennessee. 109 UT players made it to the NFL in the last 20 years. that's more than any other team in the SEC and #3 in the nation. Arkansas had 43 which is less than Pittsburgh, Syracuse, and Georgia Tech.
109 > 43
LINK
In state talent is still way better than Arkansas. 47 players from the state of Tennessee made it to the NFL whereas 27 players from state of Arkansas made to the NFL in the last 12 years.
47 > 27
let's talk about high school. in 2014 class, 61 players from TN were rated by 247 including 1 5* and 8 4*. Only 11 players were rated in Arkansas with 3 4* players.
61 > 11
and let's talk about current recruiting classes. After Dillon Bates commitment tomorrow UT will be #1 in the nation in rivals recruiting rankings once again with 1866 points. Currently Arkansas is DEAD LAST #14 in the SEC (#55 in the nation) in recruiting rankings.
#1 > #55
Nashville metro area is booming at a fast pace and analysts are saying it'll be a recruiting hotbed in 10 years. Arkansas will never have metro areas as large as Nashville and Memphis.
those are the facts but you'll probably still deny, deny, deny

Tennessee and not even being biased

After all that.
2012 Roster of In-state kids from each state.
Arkansas 37
Tennessee 46
NFL Draft picks of those In-state kids the past 4 years.
Arkansas 9
Tennessee 8
Tennessee population 6.5M
Arkansas population 3M
Arkansas = Tennessee
The population difference is laughable for the same results.

You had slightly more In-state players than we did yet we went to the Cotton Bowl and BCS bowl with our stud Arkansas players.
We had more in-state kids drafted in the same time frame with half the population to draw from. Arkansas is either vastly underrated or Tennessee is highly overrated with their talent pool?
As I said you have more average players but we had more elite players from our state the last 4 years. I'll take that every time.
You do understand how bad it looks when comparing a state with double the population to even be anywhere close to the same numbers of a state with half, right?
Here is your sample size of the current climate of each states in-state kids..
2012 Roster of In-state kids from each state.
Arkansas 37
Tennessee 46

Tennessee 8
Looks to me like Arkansas = Tennessee and both gotta go out of state.

Your attempt at rationalizing the very simple answer to this question must be extremely exhausting

1998 Arkansas vs 1998 Tennessee there wasn't much to compare.
2013 Arkansas vs 2013 Tennessee is equal.
Same money, same in-state NFL talent the past 4 years, the same strategy of going out of state including our neighbors trying to keep their kids home and away from Arkansas and Tennessee.
Why did Tennessee have less draft picks the past 4 years with all this amazing in-state talent? NFL talent is what wins in the SEC not average talent from each state.

That is changing rapidly, and we have the coach to take advantage of it.

Even Mr SEC. Thinks Arkansas and Tennessee are the same..

Arkansas
The Obstacles: Like two other new SEC coaches, Bielema doesn’t have a rich recruiting base in his school’s home state. Also, the Razorbacks have won enough historically — and recently under Bobby Petrino — to expect big things from their football coaches. But how quickly can Bielema shape a roster that was — for the most part — put together to play Petrino’s pass-happy system? It’s no secret that Bielema’s gameplans are much more ground-and-pound.
The Verdict: Based on his previous success at a big, BCS football school as well as the recruits that he’ll surely target in Texas — the Hogs are adding non-conference foes from the Lone State State left and right — Bielema has the best odds for long-term success. Again, Arkansas is one of the winningest programs in the country. The Razorbacks’ new coach was handed the keys to a Lexus SUV, not a Toyota Tercel.
Tennessee
The Obstacles: Jones is the fourth coach in Knoxville since 2008 so the roster has numerous holes. Taking a larger view, the Volunteers must recruit nationally to survive. And worse, Tennessee’s permanent cross-division rival happens to be Alabama, the best program in college football today. (Kudos to the Vol brass for not whining about that fact.)
The Verdict: Jones’s first squad will face five teams that won 11 or more games a year ago. Next year he’ll have to rebuild basically his entire offensive line. The climb early on could be tough, but in six years as a college head coach Jones has won or shared four conference titles. Plus, Tennessee is due. Just as Arkansas has tradition on its side, UT is the winningest program in the country since 1927… as Jones is quick to point out at every opportunity.
