If you take out the "gimmick" fake snap (what a term, btw. It's now a gimmick to alter your cadence in football) then Devonta Smith still finishes with more yards in that game than Chase. As many catches, and as many touchdowns.
By your definition of manhandling, it would appear that you in fact agree that Smith manhandled Stingley
