Vincent Sanders and Attaboyjo are studs. We get Evan Engram back from injury this year, who is essentially another WR at TE. He was on pace to be a Freshman AA just like Treadwell.

Ole Miss WR crew is top 3 in the league, easily.

This actually illustrates the point. Adeboyejo is a nice WR that was an Aggie commit but as we kept stacking up talent he changed to Ole Miss because he wanted a shot at play time. He would have a very hard time cracking our 2 Deep now, even his much higher rated HS teammate Quiv Gonzalez is just a situational player at A&M at this point.

UGA has the best wr corps in the SEC.

Lol @ the auburn fan who thinks they should be higher up.......really? NM threw over 250yds ONE time all season, no fricking way your wr's should be in top 5, let along in the top 1 or 2.

Bama has overrated wr's. A Cooper might be real talented, but his stats are pretty avg. The only good games he had last year came in both of bama's losses. C Jones....really? We're talking about the same guy w/ 350 wr yards? And D White isn't that great, he only avg 2.5 catches a game. OJ Howard is gonna be a stud, but only had 269 wr yards. So yeah Bama wr corp don't compare to ugas. But thanks for playing.

I worked in radio for awhile...and McElroy is pretty good. Trust me....it is not easy what he does.

I don't need to trust you. I already said he is providing good material, but needs to improve his delivery and know it isn't easy. I also worked in radio late 80's. It is hard and takes time. He just gets his training by fire. He will get it in time.

except they are better than anyone that is currently on an SEC roster.

he was finally healthy by that time. Had a nagging turf toe all season.

who does UGA even have? I honestly can't even name anyone besides Malcolm Mitchell who was injured all last year.

So I can't reasonably say AU has the best receiving corp because I am an AU fan? Nice to know.

Yes, and your QB is gone. So at your reasoning.

Other than Cooper, there is no receiver on Bama's roster that is better than the top four or five on UGA's.

You're high. Jones and White are both starters at UGA. I get the feeling you're equating talent to stats, which is a stupid argument, especially considering how much Murray threw the ball in his career

How about we agree that both schools have a great #1 receivers. A&M lost labhart and Evans. Their top 2 receivers from a year ago. And Ricky JS is still pretty unproven. Ole Miss lost Ja'mes Logan and Moncrief as well. But return a lot of experience in Vince Sanders, Treadwell, and Engram.

Well, how do you equate it? I mean, Ryan Leaf was the #2 overall pick of the NFL draft. Very talented. But his stats tell anoher story. Just because someone is considered to have a world of talent does not mean that it will equate onto the field.
Teams tend to do what they have the most confidence in. Georgia threw he ball a lot, to be sure...but because we had Murray and a stable of very good, talented WRs.

Honestly, I am not that familiar with your wide receivers, so i can't say. I DO know that Alabama does very well recruiting (to say the least) so the talent must be there...but if it cannot or does not get used.....

As do we.

One of the most hilarious trends of the offseason has been Georgia and a small minority outside of UGA claiming the Dawgs have a better WR group than Bama.

Meh...

Before the last two games, he avg 48.5 yards per game. His last 2 games were real good though, and kinda skews the numbers. He was just avg before those 2.

But this is last year's stats for bama and uga:

UGA had 8 guys over 200 wr yards, bama had 5.
UGA had 5 guys over 400 wr yads, bama had 3.
UGA had 5 guys with 4 or more tds, bama had 3.

Granted some of these stats for where SR's last year, and both teams lost good qbs. UGA's te had over 450 yds last year, so the next guy up should produce as well.

C Conley, J Scott-Wesley, and M Bennet are real good wr's who brings different things to the table. Plus throw in a healthy M Mitchell and thats a nasty group, plus all the guys who got experience last year with the injuries.

**and AJM passed for very similar numbers as AM.

Does that change the fact that auburn is a run heavy offense that rarely throws the ball? The topic is about wr corps and auburns don't belong b/c they don't pass much. But yeah the dude is pretty good, but auburn runs way too much.

This list is fricking hilarious because we all know who will have the best passing offense come the end of the year.

Tip - The team isn't listed because GMc is retarded
