2011 LSU

In just about any other year, that team walks off with the NC easily, and that’s without a decent QB.

Bama was just NASTY good that year.

If the stars and years had aligned for that team to play with Mettenberger at QB, it arguably would’ve been the best CFB team of all time.

Probably best team in most years. But I hadn't seen a defense as stingy as 2011 Bama since 1992. LSU beating that team on the road is one of the greatest accomplishments in college football I have ever witnessed.

Too bad those two teams happened to come along in the same season... obviously more unfortunate for us, but it did prevent that Bama squad from being an undefeated champion as well.

2011 LSU would have beaten 2012 A&M by 50.
