Best solution going forward to determine playoff teams.

Looking for other opinions. My solution would be:
1. Eliminate the conference championship games. Award the conference champion as the one with the best conference record. Head to head breaks a tie. If still not resolved, then team ranked the highest in the conference in the final poll is the champ.
2. Sixteen team playoff. Top 16 teams make the playoffs.
3. Rankings are made by the BCS computer algorithm.
4. The playoff brackets are decided by final BCS rankings with the normal bracket matchups.
Do you agree or what is your solution to be fair?

That would be terrible. I laid out a framework earlier this morning that would:
1. Preserve conference championship games and make them actually mean something.
2. Eliminate any arbitrary committee or computer rankings
4. Establish a system where no team is “selected” for anything. Everything is determined on the field by the guys wearing shoulder pads and helmets.
Here is how it would work.
1. The “Group of 5” split off from the Power 4 conferences. The Group of 5 then has their own playoff and championship.
2. The Power 4 conferences organize themselves into divisions, probably 4 divisions each.
3. Each division determines its champion based on record and head to head matchups. Win your division and you’re in the conference playoff.
4. Win your conference playoff game to make the conference championship game.
5. Win your conference championship game to make the national championship playoff.
6. Win your national championship playoff game to make the national championship game itself.
7. Win the National Championship game to be crowned the true FBS National Champion.
No committee
No computer
No “eye test”
Just pure football to determine who is the best team in college football.
