Was Dewayne Bowe in this "Saban" era? He's probably not the best but he should be in the conversation.

was on the 03 LSU team and played until 2006 for lsu, so yes.

Any fan of Alabama before Saban got there should say Josh Reed.

When he left he held the SEC career record for receiving yards, not really a one hit wonder.
I don't disagree that AJ is the more gifted player though.
