Brett is going to get fricking rolled. With the players he has on hand and the talent level at Arkansas relative to the conference, his style of play is going to get squashed in the SEC where teams are set up to combat exactly what he's going to try to do. Because of that, he's going to stumble out of the gate. Because of that, Arkansas' recruiting, which is never stellar, won't get the huge bounce he needs to get the players to make that offense work. He'll be stuck in that rut until he gets fired in 4 years.

you're going to be so mad in a season or two when sumlin crashes and burns or leaves.

That's a lot of assumptions, and his recruiting has actually be pretty good so far. Better than Petrino's.

What kind of stellar recruiting do you think he needs to make his offense work? He's successfully recruited very, very good OL (take a gander), RBs, QBs, and TEs. He has a very good OL coach in Sam Pittman. I think we're in good shape moving forward.

Next year will be bumpy but I like the direction things are headed.

I don't think we will dethrone Alabama but I don't think we'll be stuck in a rut.

LSU with a competent offense is everyone's worst nightmare.
