someone put out a video last year that I can no longer find that was nothing but highlights of our receivers blocking downfield. Some great shite from him and others on that one.

The level of illiteracy on this Board is absolutely astounding. Can any of you yokels even read?
I typed, VERY CLEARLY, "this WASN'T a great hit." (emphasis added). I just thought that the head-bounce was hilarious.

Swope really put his head into his blocking.

This.
Both players got air time.

Where was the hit?
Was it when he grabbed his facemask as he was already falling down?

And if we're going by runningbacks than Lynch's run against the Saints a couple years ago is GOAT.
And as for the OP, it isn't a great hit but Alshon carries an Auburn defender for 15 yards into the endzone LINK

He was a smart player and did take blocking seriously, yes.

Was this best facemask by a WR?

I mean while we were posting stiff arms, it had to be done
I know it was off topic but I remember watching it live.

Perfect example of how to miss a block.

Some holding motherfrickers. Also the receiver has all the advantage. DB's have to play back with their weight shifted back in case they take off on a route.
Oregon are the masters at this though. Best blocking wide receivers I've seen every year. A lot of their routes engage DB's and LB's like they're run blocking before they run the route and look for the qb. It's why they're so wide open a lot of the time. If you're a DB, you can't engage the blocker and shift your weight forward because they could take off on a route leaving you on your butt.
I see Sumlin's scheme utilizes this as well.
