Another example of why Bama is always more respected by LSU fans over Auburn. Poor Aubbie...the "other" Tiger team. The "other" Alabama team.

LSU- the tigers who need to find a real rival so they stop obsessing over Alabama and Auburn. You will never be anything more than the 3rd most important rival to us

Good, hurry up and implement that stuff so UGA and Athens will stop dragging their feet on similar proposals for light rail and beautification. I swear this state can't get it together sometimes.
Agree, but first we should probably focus on getting an indoor practice facility. Our stadium is pretty great as it is, but it's embarrassing we don't have a place to practice when it rains (which it does all the time in Athens).

It seems I struck a nerve...
Still, the Real Tigers. Only need one mascot down here Aubbie, I mean War Eagle...WTF are ya'll anyway?
Back to the stadium thread discussion...Can't wait to beat Auburn in their nice, luxurious, loud stadium this coming year.

TS is awesome. I know its going to be hard to get tickets in 2016. Do people sell tickets outside the stadium like they do at Faurot? I really want to go there and watch the game. Might have to ask my niece if she can get me one. I wanna try some Gator.

C'mon on down. We will Tiger Bait ya but everyone is welcome and most tailgaters are very friendly and willing to share a beer and the best food anywhere with our opponents. It's the Louisiana way baby. I've never been to a game in Baton Rouge when tickets weren't being sold outside before gameday.

You need to be careful, the state legislature just cracked down on ticket scalping outside of stadiums in the state. LSU was most affected by that, obviously.
That said, I don't think you'll have trouble getting tickets from a reputable buyer, as long as you buy ahead of time. Good luck!

I'm extremely jealous of this. The ramps, restrooms, and concessions inside Tiger Stadium are just plain embarrassing. There are old generators and machines from the 20's that are size of cars sitting inside Tiger Stadium that you see when walking up the interior ramps. There is a lot of wasted space that could be used for more restrooms and concession stands. Also a lot of the interior walk ways lack sufficient lighting. I'm not sure if any of the interior of the lower bowl has been remodeled since most of it was built in the 20's and 30's. This was the only pic I could find. If you notice to the right how dark it is and how bad it looks
Also, LSU recently replaced all the broken windows and remodeled the north End zone which looks great, but they didn't remodel the parts of the lower bowl underneath the upperdecks. It looks terrible.
Couldn't agree more. Of all the big time programs in the SEC, the interior of Tiger Stadium is far and a way the poorest.

Alleva has been willing to renovate and upgrade so much of Tiger Stadium, but IDK why he hasn't considered renovating the interior walkways. He has prolly never seen it before.

I think they're getting to that. Working from the outside in, maybe?

LSU is currently studying a plan to reclaim some of the old dorm room space for more restrooms. LSU AD Joe Alleva was quoted on this last week. Will probably be part of the future concourse renovation.
You see the columns in the new Stadium Club South? Word on the street is they will carry that look over into the Tiger Stadium concourses.
