Prime spurrier was fun to watch except when he played LSU. He dominated the field and the press conference.
With instate rivals Florida St and Miami both being good it was a hell of a task.

Penn State was the number one-ranked team in the nation when they went to the Sugar Bowl, dummy. ALABAMA was ranked 2nd. It was one of a couple of times in history that #1 actually played #2 on the field during the bowl era, dummy.
