2003 LSU has to be in the discussion.

I personally loved 1992 Alabama. Big John Copeland and Eric Curry as book end rushers.

I'd like to point out that scoring defense isn't a good statistic. 2011 Alabama's scoring defense includes non-offensive touchdowns, long plays, garbage touchdowns, and touch downs scored on short fields. Scoring defense is a very weak statistic. Look at 2012 Oregon. They averaged giving up 3 touchdowns per game, but you must consider that most games were blowouts, and Oregon let off the gas early when the victory was secured. Oregon's one, truly bad game was against the Southern California Trojans. Unlike teams like Alabama, Oregon doesn't mind allowing teams to score after Oregon has blown them out.
