No. I've been a fan of Cohen from the get go. But i just can't stomach... stupid, ignorant, common sense decisions that are failed to be made at the right time. I like his hard nosed, determined attitude... but this is the year we have got to see a much more improved team.

Cohen and Henderson can not exist without each other...
Cohen is better fit for a program like UK then MSU...
Like I said, rid of him and let him come back to Lexington on his hands and knees...because I would take him back with open arms.

Ok, now what is your reasoning behind this statement? Just curious.

Bourbon vs cowbells..
...pretty easy if you ask me.

If he continues to pull stunts like this, yeah it will for sure get to that point. Early in the season, leaving guys in too long, is when/what I have a problem with. I did not follow as much the last couple of seasons, due to playing ball myself, so I take it he's been consistent with leaving guys in to long.. his first two seasons?

We do not draw that much for one...no one really gives a shite about baseball like MSU.
All he has to do is get us to Hoover and trips to Regionals and we would be happy...
You expect Omaha....we would be happy to sniff it...
UK=little pressue
MSU=pressure cooker.

Ok preciate it.
So you don't think Cohen can handle pressure? I'm starting to wonder myself. This is the year imo. To see lots of improvement, atleast.

I think he can handle the pressure...
The problem I see, does the players at State can handle his wrath...
He is a a-hole....and I do mean he is extremely demanding of his players...
It works with a program at UK with little pressure where playes are not only hearing it from Cohen (trust me, they are getting abused in the locker room with his sharp tongue) but also feeling it from the fan base.

I live right beside Belmont. Small college but has a nice campus. Tough loss for State.

i have a ton of faith in this guy. i grew up playing ball for one of the toughest coaches, not only in mississippi but in the nation. tonight showed me this guy is putting alot of trust in certain guys in this team and sometimes it takes that. he will turn it around. give him and these guys a chance. just remember the dump this program was in after polk was done running it into the ground. and if your wondering i played for hester at New Hope. the premier basesball program in the state of mississippi

I played under Hester also. Being a former pitcher I realize how fragile the arm can be. That's why I'm not for a guy throwing 117 pitches this early in the season. We need Jones to be around alot longer than just the 9th inning against Belmont.

yea but the season is early this will let us know what the kid is made of next time he is in that position and it will also show us what kinda confidennce he has in the kid as well going into sec play. you from columbus as well or played for hester before his new hope days

It's not about confidence at this point. Of course he has confidence in the kid w/the way he's pitched. My point is, it's way to early in the season to be slinging 117 pitches. I played for Hester from 95-99. You?

lil after that 01-03. you were part of that special 98 season that went 43-0. thats hell of an accomplishments. all i can say about hester is i spent many of sundays pulling weeds out of the warning track.

Got your years mixed up. 96 was 43-0. 98 we did win State but were 37-6.
