You believe all that?
You are that stupid
Aggies earn more at 1,3,5,10 years after graduation
College Station is 1000% less gay by anyone’s metrics than Austin
Country girls are 1000% sexier than bull lesbians with green hair and nose rings chained to their ears and eyebrows

The University of Texas is the flagship university in Texas. Sorry, it's just true.

It is one of 2
That’s a fact
It’s not the oldest nor is it the largest of the 2 flagship schools

Sorry little brother, just be glad Aggie lets you be #2

If you have to change the definition of the word "flagship," you aren't the flagship, little brother.

The texas State legislature recognizes 2 flagship universities
Sorry little brother

We didn’t change anything; the Texas legislature establishes which institutions are the flagship universities.
quote:
When it comes to identifying the number of flagship institutions per state, most people would typically assume there is one per state. However, three states have passed bills identifying multiple state flagship institutions. These include:
a. The State of Texas - Two flagship institutions - U. of Texas and Texas A&M
b. The State of New York - Two flagship institutions - U. of Buffalo and Stony Brook U.
c. The State of Florida legislature attempted to vote that the U. of Florida was the only state flagship but when Florida State U. and the U. of South Florida, found out, they made changes to the bill to add them as flagships too. Ironically, U. of Central Florida, not one of Florida’s flagships, is the largest 4-year college in the state.

What's the flagship university of the state of Texas?
And yes everyone thinks of USF when they think about the flagship university of the state of Florida.

California has 2 I believe as well
But in the state of Texas, A&M is the much older and larger of the 2 universities

You can insert every laughing emoji you want; It still doesn’t matter what anyone thinks.
In Texas there is no the flagship university, arbitrarily decided upon by random public opinion.
The state legislature made the designation.
Texas A&M University in College Station is the flagship institution of the Texas A&M University System; UT Austin is the flagship school of the University of Texas System.
You can pop over to the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board and/or State of Texas Legislature websites if you’re looking for some evening reading.

I get it. We're dealing with an LSU fan here so brains aren't your forte. After all, nobody lists LSU when talking about great education or great investment. However, I didn't expect you to be an aggy bootlicker. Old Sarge sounds like you wish you were in the Corps. Probably so cranky because they rejected you and you got stuck at LSU!
We'll take our changes with ROI by always being listed higher than A&M in college rankings like U.S. News and World Report. If you think A&M is full of country girls and Texas full of lesbians, you must be blind too.

It's funny that your proof Texas A&M is totally a flagship just like UT is a statement of intent for a bill submitted by a University of Texas alum.
FWIW I'm not arguing that TAMU isn't the flagship of the Texas A&M System. But if you have to pick a flagship for the state of Texas... it's obviously not TAMU.

Texas endowment $45B
A&M endowment $20B
Yet someway Texas is the little brother to A&M, per aggy and LSU fans.

It wasn’t meant as proof (tho there exist a litany of online documents that would serve as artifacts if that’s what you’re seeking); I simply screen-grabbed the first one that popped up.
I assumed you were from Texas and were familiar with our state’s organizational structure. I could be mistaken.
Bottom line: You're incorrect (but I’ve a pretty good hunch you know that).
Enjoyed the banter! Have a good night.
