Sorry did not read that long thing. I do not think Winston deserved the Heisman. His first tough game and he was not impressive. He is obnoxious and needs to shut his mouth. He will keep talking and end up in jail.

Stop the hating, dude is a heisman trophy winner and National Champion.
And a young man who would've rightly been charged with rape were he not protected by TPD and FSU. Even the press, who has no problems raking SEC players over the coals for far lesser crimes remained complicit and silent. JFF got a harder time simply for being a kid who let things get to his head. Even the announcers in this game talked up Marshall's alleged five finger discount but were conspicuously silent about Winston shooting the windows of an occupied building (a felony in Florida even with a BB gun - Jameis admitted being in a 'paintball fight' but lied to police as they were actually using BB/pellet guns and those things aren't the BB guns from a few years ago - guess he's smart enough to figure that's more serious than claiming paintball) and his little issue with very likely raping a defenseless girl even taking her into another room so he could lock the door (those two actions alone are two felonies - rape and false imprisonment/kidnapping) and all are far more serious crimes.
Jameis Winston deserves no props. He deserves to be awaiting trial.

It's all good. I agree with you that eventually if he keeps on talking he'll get figured out even by those who right now still take him as just a sweet, dumb, innocent kid.

FRIKKKKKKLKKKK AUBURN TOO.
There was no P.I., I admit that, dude tripped over his own feet.
Agree with the first part, but I hope you aren't talking about the end of the game with the second part. That PI was blatant and AU had been pulling that shite all game. It was about time it got called especially after they blew the horsecollar call.
In summation, frick Auburn.

So you're cool with violent felonies and forcible rape as long as guy plays foosball well. Can't argue with someone who holds that view.

You're cool with raking a teenager over the coals for something he wasn't even charged for, as long as you view it as a valid excuse?

Bama didn't beat Bama in back to back games, Oklahoma kicked their shite in. Auburn did get lucky that Saban was dumb enough to kick a 59 yard field goal though.

There's plenty of evidence to support charges if you read the documents. However, the argument is about the fact that he was never charged not whether or not he was found guilty or not guilty (the DA made sure that determination would never be made at all). A trial is for determining possible guilt by evaluation of evidence and were it not for TPD, FSU, and him being a football player he'd have indicted and awaiting trial just like any other American facing the same allegations. That it's already been revealed he committed a felony with air rifle incident and has prior run ins that were also never acted on only adds evidence to support the fact that he was given special treatment.
By denying the very process that is designed to get to the heart of truth and determine guilt or innocence, the DA made sure that evidence would never be heard and that proof could not be tested and validated in court. That is the opposite of justice.
As I said before he should be awaiting trial as you, I, or Joe or Jan Schmoe would be if we there was even a whiff of allegation. With Jameis there's far more than mere unsubstantiated rumor yet he avoided so much as being charged.

And I'm cool with demanding this 20 year old MAN be treated just like any other 20 year old man or woman would be. I'm not cool with the judicial system being used to protect the rich, famous, well connected, or athletically important. Even less so when it comes to the crime of rape.
That the DA refused to indict is a fricking disgrace, remains a disgrace, and would be a disgrace no matter who he played for. A trial is there to determine guilt or innocence. If you believe so strongly in his innocence you shouldn't have a problem with going through the process that is designed to weigh evidence and determine whether or not one is guilty.
Had he gone through charges and/or trial as 99 percent of Americans would've and his innocence were determined it would be another story but he wasn't tried or charged, the DA and the TPD made damn sure of that, and so he remains someone who benefited from a travesty.
