D1 even hits highschool games because the eye test is far more accurate. D1 is my go to when I want the best info - even though I read all of them.

thats part of it, but its mainly cause the D1 guys started the business. kendall rogers was at perfect game after rivals.com shut down their baseball coverage. Arron fitt built BA from the bottom up. Both of those sites are just leftovers now.

why are we behind arkansas and mississippi state in this projection after finishing ahead of them in the conference and having a higher rpi?

From what I read it was because of the east schedule you played. You got South Carolina, Kentucky and Mizzou and got Alabama from the west and got swept by Miss State.

georgia SOS is 10, Arky is 11, state is 21...they have a legitimate gripe. Vandy has 8 more Q1 wins than UCLA yet they have them ranked behind them.

Eye test is another part of it (Arky and MSU bats are much more impressive than UGA) and both are proven commodities lately. You can argue that shouldn’t be a factor but it is. I think MSU also has more wins than we do and both have more Q1 wins though not by much (Arky by 1 and MSU by 3)

Head to head really shouldn’t be a factor either. By that logic we own the head to head over Vandy. Teams are different at different points in the season and, in our case, our two best players were hurt for the MSU series. Not to mention road vs home impacts head to head as well.

I find it hard to believe Georgia has to win the tourney to be a national host. That would be some bullshite.
