Would he leave Clemson?
He's more than left the door open on previous interviews.
Here's one from November 2015
I don't think he'd leave Clemson for any college job other than Alabama, but he's from the state, he played and won a NC at Bama, and Bama was his first coaching job. It would be pretty much the ultimate momma calling scenario.
Right now, if I were AD he would be my first phone call. His run at Clemson has gone on long enough that he is now a proven commodity. He's been through different coordinators on both sides of the ball and he keeps on winning.
I'm not really a fan of his penchant for publicity, but that might not be as brash at Bama. Clemson isn't nearly as high profile a brand as Bama and his whole time there he's been competing against Steve Spurrier in a very small state. You gotta do what you can to get attention.
He won't have to do that at Bama and having been here before, he knows it.

We will probably pull Harbaugh from Michigan. He would be lethal at a big time program.

He may mellow with age but he has to be Dabo, not Saban, or even the Bear. I want him true to himself. But, I got a feeling we don't have to worry about that. With his dashing style he has guts and balls. He will be just who he is.
