You haven't pointed out how hiring an unemployed position coach who coached at Michigan is "cheating" nor have you quantified how it even really benefits them.

Check out Josh Pate’s take on this.

And if you don’t know how it benefits bama

You are on the wrong board.

Why would saban hire a ex Michigan coach right before he plays Michigan
In a playoff game.

You seem to be intelligent but just maybe a bit naive.

You didn't answer my question.

If Michigan's current DC just resigned out of the blue and got hired by Bama before the playoff game, that would raise my eyebrow.

He's an unemployed LB coach. What value does he really have?

Yes to both questions if that is what you were asking

Another thing to consider is that he will be bringing information about MICHIGAN too

IF he did, it would be 1 year old information. Who cares.

It's becoming pretty apparent how clueless you are about this topic.

Please explain why just before the playoff game with Michigan

Did saban think it was necessary to hire a Michigan coach

You seem unable to answer a lot of questions that were asking by a lot of people in this thread. I find it interesting you are not defending this move

Not trying to start a fight I am just wondering like anybody what is going on here with this

Because you haven't asked a coherent question that hasn't already been answered.

Why did we hire him? Our OLB coach was hired by Miss St and we needed a replacement

Why him? Because he had past tenures with Saban and he's got good qualifications

Did he work at UM? Yes, in 2022

You’re the one asking the questions right now I just answered one at the start about Michigan and sign stealing and why Saban hired him .

Its really just thinking out loud but you have to admit that OP raised some very serious and strange issues about this

F,

PS I am not mad about anybody asking questions we have to ask them to get to the heart of the truth.

Helow spent the 2021 and ’22 seasons as Michigan’s linebackers coach, he and the team agreed to part ways ahead of the 2023 season. He spent this year away from college football but got his start in coaching with Alabama as an intern in 2012.

So? Every coach that gets hired by another school can do that. He's a LB coach, not a DC.

None of this is convincing that I've read so far.

Nobody seems to be able to specify WHAT value he could bring, just that he is, it's supposedly corrupt, and I should trust their opinion.

Not sold.

The key is that he is a coach at Michigan and is now a coach at Alabama.

Which is a program now known for its illegalities I would say that raises some serious questions.

Maybe you dont agree but I don’t honestly know

That's not evidence of anything to amount to a convincing argument.

I guess we agree to disagree and I think that’s fine as long as you can honestly tell yourself that you honestly considered everything about the situation.

As I’ve thought about it it looking worse I suppose can’t even say.

I've asked for feedback from all sides to consider everything in its totality in this thread, and the feedback I've received is "he coached a michigan and now he's at alabama".

That's not a story.

They had Mike Stoops on staff as an analyst the last time we played them I believe. I didn't consider that dirty either. He was also unemployed when they hired him.
