Winning also involves some luck. Bama had a boat load of it last year. Will it continue? Who knows. Just ask Colt McCoy.

The reason Bama will not repeat has more to do with the mental element of young men who just reached the top of the world. Saban knows this is his biggest obstacle next year and he will be helpless to keep apathy from rearing its ungly head at least once. The Tide will lose 2 games next year: one from apathy, the other at the hands of a team hell bent on payback.
Bama has thrived due to a man from West Virginia, not because they are Alabama.

Every year in college football, there are a few teams that need a few parts of their team to play at a certain level to win a championship.
For UF in 2009, it was OT and WR, and it didn't happen.
For Bama in 2009, it was OL and QB, and it DID happen.
It doesn't happen every year though. No one stays on the top of the mountain forever. Nowadays, it barely lasts a year or 2.

It's simply human/Rant nature to proclaim that the loss of a player on a rival team will lead to the utter and complete destruction of that team. Speaking of which, didn't your third string punter graduate? If so, your team is totally fricked.
