Well, i remember Bama fans doing the same thing the year before last when y'all lost to Florida in the SECCG. Because Bama put up a great fight and y'all were returning a lot of starters. And Florida was losing some playmakers. This year it's Auburn returning a lot of starters and Bama losing a lot of playmakers on defense. There's not much experience back there at all.
Unlike Auburn, Alabama is replacing its starters with quality players.

Jesus. It's not even close to the season yet and the smack talk begins. I don't really think about Auburn until the week before the game. There's no point. Nothing you guys have or do has any effect on Alabama until the game.
Until then it's a bunch of meaningless bullshite smack talk that can't be backed up, since stats are meaningless.

Not much experience, but we have a head coach who is a defensive guru and enough talent to help ease the loss of starters on defense. It's an initial concern entering the season, but I'm not panicking about it.

Okay? That wasn't even in my argument? So..
Actually, we're replacing like a few starters. Not the whole defense.

The only fan base who believes Auburn is better than Alabama this year is Auburn. I'd equate that kind of opinion with being a Holocaust Denier, my friend.

And we're not replacing the whole defense as well. We are, in effect, replacing three positions: Left Corner, Right Corner, and Free Safety. Most of the guys coming back on the defensive line have Game Day experience. Marcell Dareus isn't a returning starter and he led the team in sacks. The linebackers who are coming back also have a lot of game experience themselves.

Link to Auburn fans who think Auburn is better than Bama this coming year.

I'm sure if you spent a few hours on the ITAT board you will find quite a few Auburn fans who believe the Tigers are better than Alabama.

Coach Saban is that you?

Even the Auburn fans here hate the posters on ITAT. Everyone agrees they're batshit crazy.

Thankfully I don't know of an Alabama equivalent to ITAT

Which is why I say go to ITAT to see Auburn fans claim the Tigers have a better team than Alabama. I haven't seen it of late. Ever since what's-his-face passed away they haven't been as crazy as they once were.

Don't you think those are the most vital positions for experience? Plus after the so called game day experienced players at every positon, what about that depth? Saban likes to rotate players a lot. So they will get thrown into th fire as well.

They're going to have growing pains. You can't sit here and tell me there will not be any drop off from last year. The offense better be ready to score more points when asked to do so, too.

You know what...i retrack my link request. I am sure some AE douche has said Auburn is better than Bama in the last few months.

Hell, you can go to the AE to see that. Who fricking cares?

In all fairness, I think we'll be ready for Auburn after we face high-powered offenses in Arkansas and Florida. Plus, they've had 11 games to get the issues fixed.
It'll be a good game, again.
