Like I said before, our O will definitely be worse off, almost like Auburn's the past few years due to line play. However, our defense will be THE best in the country as long as Cody stays.

Cody doesn't matter this coming season anywhere NEAR as much as he mattered this one. He basically "made up" for our lack of depth on the DL. If we don't have him for 2009-2010 we'll still be fine. Our defensive depth has doubled with the current recruiting class + the guys that red-shirted.

Alabama will put more Blue Chip athletes on the field next year than it did this year. A lot more. JPW sucked his entire career. Saban did a masterful job of coaching him - limiting JPWs mistakes and maximizing offensive performance despite his multitude of deficiencies. Saban's coaching success with a mediocre JPW gives me great confidence for the future with a naturally gifted QB.

Net effect: Saban + Alabama's fanbase & tradition = WIN WIN WIN.

It's kinda like the bug (everybody else) versus the windshield (Alabama).

Yes, they have a back up, that played some this year. And, they have the 5 Star recruit redshirt
freshman Star Jackson, who is talked about as being Great.

They have NOTHING at the QB position after JPW leaves.

You guys are automatically assuming that Gmac will be as bad as JLee?

I hate to break it to you, but JLee might be the worst QB in America. No doubt I expect our new QB to struggle some, but we will have a good defense to help him out-- unlike you guys this year. Saban is going to run the ball and keep him out of tough situations, just like he tried to do with JPW this year.

Winning the West is a fair goal next year.
