Alabama can return 20 starters in 2011, with a fairly favorable schedule. If you think his recruiting will not allow Alabama to get into the national title picture again, then you fail even more than this thread.

They will be in the picture no doubt. But I believe Auburn will be too in the next couple of years. Football in the state of Alabama should be deciding the West for the next few years.

I won't debate Auburn is improving their talent, but what has Chizik done to suggest they'll compete for championships? Until they actually do that, I don't see how anyone can say they will. Losing a game by six points is not going to prove anything for the following year. If that was the case, all those close losses Shula had would have meant something other than heartache.
