They did. Overly harsh too.

Keep trying.

What would happen if Ole Miss was actually good at anything, and could find Atlanta or Omaha on a map? Hmmmm.

Wow. That was homerific. Vacating wins and requiring that the kids re-pay the school? Ouch.

Vacating wins is bullshite and you know it. It's a way for the NCAA to point to paperwork after the fact and say, "Look what we made Bama do!!! LOOK LOOK!!!". Vacated wins are for message board heros and Middle School smack sessions, nothing more.

I see you've been hanging out over on the barn board. Just remember, you are judged by the company you keep.

What if Bama was actually good at anything other than Football. Hmmmm...

Oops, sorry. You are good at something else. Cheating. Are the CNC shirts out yet?

What the frick is your agenda? Are you butthurt because you've lost six straight to Alabama? Or is it more about the series record of being owned for eternity? Maybe because Ole Miss hasn't been relavent in four decades, or because you realize Houston Nutt is taking Ole Miss anywhere.

Or it's a message board. A public forum to discuss all things SEC. You don't like the thread, gtfo.

FWIW, I'd take a cheating Saban over any other coach in America. I'm a little pissed that we aren't trying as hard as Bama.

I long for the good ol days. Cheating hard, winning big and talking smack. Good times. Seriously, I just want to win. I don't care how. Just win.

There's nothing to discuss. It's a pile of horseshite "journalism".

Honestly. Five football players received less than 500 dollars from a glitch in the system, that allowed them to take advantage of it.

We were proactive in punishment which included 5 games suspensions for the five players.

So yeah, I as a "homer" think 3 years suspension and vacating wins was a bit harsh for textbooks.

If anybody should punished more harshly its the raccateering involved in textbooks.

Oh you poor, naive boy. Of course he doesn't cheat. That would be stupid and antiquated. He's got plenty of people to cheat for him. Plausible deniability is a HC's best friend baby.

My point is, I'd rather have Saban-esque results (and everything that comes along with those results, good or bad) than the status quo.
